So I just watched MacHeads. The movie is specifically about the community that revolves around Apple. Not Apple Inc., not Steve Jobs, not the products. Just the people that comprise the user community and their beginnings, their struggle during the 90's when Apple was sinking, to their rise again in the 2000s and ironically, their impending demise due to the way the 'net and Apple's newer products are alienating and / or making user groups and communities superfluous.

Are We (Happy) Slipping?!?
You know, Pinoys are known for a lot of things. Being one, I know this very well. First, we do not know how to form a line. Directly from attending mass for example, little old ladies will elbow, kick and step on your feet to get on the first jeep out. I know (and felt) this for a fact.
Second, we are very sensitive. The moment a foreigner says anything even remotely negative about us, we are picketing outside their embassies. Admit it, you (if you're a Pinoy) are waiting for me to say something prickly. I know you are.
And Third, whenever there's an online poll involving a Pinoy? WE WIN IT. From Pacquiao polls to Beauty Queens, if you're even remotely Pinoy / Pinay and the poll is on the Intarnetz? You.gonna.win.baby. That's just the way it is.
So why in heck did Happy Slip just end up 5th in a 2 month long Ms. YouTube Contest?!
