In an astounding turn of events, 3 of 4 Google executives were charged with criminal defamation by an Italian court for failing to comply with the Italian privacy code due to a video uploaded on YouTube.

Google's blogpost reveals that in late 2006 a video of students bullying an autistic schoolmate was uploaded to YouTube by one of the students. Same blogpost reports YouTube took it down a few hours after and worked with Italian police to find and identify said student.

A surefire hit from the Muppets, YouTube Commenteres, Digg, and those old guys who heckle at everything.

I received a couple of .mov videos I wanted to upload on BallEx, which uses Wordpress 2.7.1, the latest version as I write this. I had never uploaded *hosted videos on Wordpress before other than the embedded versions from YouTube and similar services, so I decided to try it out, bandwidth issues begone.

Turns out it wasn't as easy as I thought. Here's what I had to do.

First of all, here's how my 'Add New Post' page on Wordpress looks like. I do not use the 'visual editor' since I usually write my posts in HTML. *Tip to bloggers out there: learning even a little HTML can give you much better control over your post's appearance.

Anyway, right beside the words 'upload/insert', there are a few icons that indicate you can add an image, a video, an audio file or 'media'. I tried several times, 'Add Video' DOES NOT WORK.
