Thoughts On Facebook Causes Aids

The primary issue I have with the DOH's latest statement was: 'So what are you gonna do about it'?

In PDI's report, the DOH mentions a bunch of reasons for the rise of HIV-AIDS in the country as described by Philippine National AIDS Council secretariat Ferchito Avelino, such as:

  • The absence of an enabling environment or a social support system for people with HIV-AIDS or those at risk to the virus.
  • The lack of access to information about sex as adults refuse to talk about sex with their children, who grow up doing their own research.
