This is documentation of how I moved Iamshallow.wordpress.com to a new domain, Tooshallow.com. This post may can also be referred as 'Moving a Wordpress.com blog to Self-hosted Wordpress' as the process is the same. I've broken it down into 3 stages:

• Preparing the domain name.
• Self-Hosted Wordpress Installation
• Importing from Wordpress.com to the new Self-Hosted Wordpress

Last January, I posted details on this site about WordCamp Philippines 2010. Browsing around Facebook today, I happened onto its page again and realized nothing's changed. And for me, that's a problem.

See the last time I checked it, it didn't have an agenda. 3 months later as I write this, apparently it still doesn't have one.

But does that deter people from hyping it up? Strangely, no. As I write this, there are 190 confirmed guests, and a venue hasn't been announced yet. That is amazing.

In an astounding turn of events, 3 of 4 Google executives were charged with criminal defamation by an Italian court for failing to comply with the Italian privacy code due to a video uploaded on YouTube.

Google's blogpost reveals that in late 2006 a video of students bullying an autistic schoolmate was uploaded to YouTube by one of the students. Same blogpost reports YouTube took it down a few hours after and worked with Italian police to find and identify said student.

I love this.

I attended the Microsoft Bloggers VIP Mix last January 28, 2010 for Tech Exchange and my lifestyle blog Animetric's World. It's my first Microsoft event ever so I didn't have the faintest notion of what I was in for.
